On November 8th and 9th, two days were held at the CNR Research Area of Bologna, dedicated to all the schools, part of the national MIUR project “The Language of Research” (LdR). LdR is a scientific outreach initiative born in the Research Area of Bologna 20 years ago, now coordinated by Dr. A. Torreggiani from our Institute. Proudly celebrating its 20th anniversary, this year, the project involves 10 Italian regions.
During the 2023-XX° Conference, more than 500 students were involved, and the two days focused on the importance of scientific outreach, group activities and highlighting the most creative scientific products.
Middle and high school students were awarded for their works completed during the academic year 2022-2023 when they met CNR experts in specific scientific sessions at schools.
This year, the 20th anniversary of LdR coincides with the Centenary of our institution, making it a significant and eventful year for all institutes in Italy. Therefore, within the LdR Conference, the award ceremony for the Video Contest instituted by our Institute as part of the Centenary celebrations of the CNR was also celebrated.
